Sweet Electric - Mexico (Official Video)
Sweet Electric - Mexico. The first single taken off the bands second album 'Something Something Disco I heard the bad news today Another line on my face I’m bored of it all Been staring at these four walls The televisions screaming at me I swear to God it’s on repeat I heard this yesterday And I wasn’t even listening Tell me the lines I needed to say The tempo in time The rhythm, the key Just play me a song that is speaking to me Can you please? It’s time we pack our bags and Buy ourselves some cheap sunglasses Where do we go, I don’t know Let’s get as far away from here change our names and disappear Let’s go to Mexico, no one will ever know I’m calling out to my subconscious mind I’m sick of living in the daily grind I want to see it all At least Run it up the flagpole Procrastination is my worst enemy Another hit of dopamine Am i messed up in the head Let’s not go down that rabbit hole Im so sick and tired Of feeding the fire A lack of desire My brain has retired Im running on empty it’s time to forget me Im done It’s time we pack our bags and Buy ourselves some cheap sunglasses Where do we go, I don’t know Let’s get as far away from here change our names and disappear Let’s go to Mexico, no one will ever know I'll Follow you wherever you go I'll Follow you wherever you go www.sweetelectricofficial.com

Sweet Electric - Hard Times (Official video)
Sweet Electric - Hard times Check out Sweet Electric here: www.sweetelectricofficial.com Buy your self some new clothes Hear your favourite songs on your home stereo Clear your mind you can let it go Let’s drive until there’s street signs that we don’t even know Now you light a spark and I’m getting set I’ve got a fire to burn through the best and the worst so don’t be scared There’s always cracks in the walls we face And when it all comes crashing down, then we’re still in the race When hard times come Then hard work follows Gotta keep on kickin Get on up and dig in I’m sick and tired of dragging the ball and chain Gotta switch my mind off and tell myself it’s just a game I’m b b burning the midnight oils just to find my way No rest for the working man that’s how to make an honest pay I feel we’re falling asleep at the wheel, lost the sense of what’s real, gained a touch of the fear, but I ain’t shedding tears, nor am I changing gears I’ve got the Midas touch - back it up - shut the door come on let’s make it clear. Sweet Electric - Heir To The Throne (Official Video)
Sweet Electric - Heir To The Throne Follow us online here: www.SweetElectricOfficial.com #classicrock #rocknroll #hardrock Lyrics Rock N Roll is deadI’m sorry I just can’t hear it If you got something to say why don’t you just say it I didn’t mean to be controversial As long as we’re alive Rock n roll will never die The definition of insanity is doing the same thing And expecting a different result The system is broken But I keep on going They say that my ego Is all that is stopping Me from all the glory That my talent promises You know I’m money So Where do I sign There’s millions of rockers They lack inspiration They put on their records That radio stations Have spun half to death They hope there still a breath Of Originality Yappity Everyone’s dying Their Mouths are moving But they’re saying nothing I’m not a God or a savour but I know my words can be twisted To change ya A perception of danger But still they don’t pay ya I believe it’s time for a change believe it This city is burning down It’s all that you know The king is dead So get off the throne Somebody’s flying the flag But nobody knows These dogs are hungry So shut up I’m taking your bone I am not claiming That I am the greatest The next generation I’m sure they will take it Much further than any Of the ageing fossils That currently hold on to The flame they need to let go The old guard is dead The reason that rock isn’t Trending no more Is coz they closed the door On the new breed To top up their pensions And keep on releasing Renditions of nothing The bastards are laughing They’re overcharging So tell me old man Are they paying you handsomely Can you keep up with me, No ? Then why don’t you get off your throne And take off your crown and pass it on to somebody new This city is burning down It’s all that you know The king is dead So get off the throne Somebody’s flying the flag But nobody knows These dogs are hungry So shut up I’m taking your bone I’m not suggesting That we should be changing The definition Of what rock n roll ever was No what I am saying We take inspiration And paint a new picture For our generation and GO! This city is burning down It’s all that you know The king is dead So get off the throne Somebody’s flying the flag But nobody knows These dogs are hungry So shut up I’m taking your bone I said tell me old man Are they paying you handsomely Can you keep up with me No? Then off the throne I said tell me old man Are they paying you handsomely Can you keep up with me No? Then off the throne I said tell me old man Are they paying you handsomely Can you keep up with me No? Then off the throne These dogs are hungry So shut up I’m taking your bone
